The art of book making originates all the way back to approximately 100 BC when the need for a sturdier alternative to paper scrolls was needed. A book cover provides both protection and a decorative element comes in all shapes and sizes. To learn more about book making I decided to make a couple of books from scratch including paperback and hardcover publications.
The layout of the pages is simple yet playfull as I was experimenting with letter forms and page layout which I then collected in these handmade books.
